Non-Interventional Clinical Research Ethics Committee
Iğdır University Non-Interventional Clinical Research Ethics Committee consists of 7 members elected by our university senate in accordance with Article 2 of the Directive. Our committee grants research permission by checking the ethical compliance of scientific research that is not included in the scope of animal experiments and clinical research. Therefore, procedures included in the scope of animal experiments and clinical examinations are excluded from the scope of evaluation by our committee.
Scope of Non-Interventional Clinical Trials:
a) All retrospective studies based on archive scans,
b) Studies conducted using surveys and similar information gathering tools related to human health,
c) Examining the data in the records of tests, interviews, audio/video recordings and data in computer environment,
c) All non-drug observational procedures (descriptive, cross-sectional, case-control, cohort),
d) Studies conducted with materials obtained during routine examination, analysis, diagnosis and treatment procedures,
e) Examinations performed with parts of biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, and radiology collections such as blood money, tissue, radiological images, or materials obtained during routine examinations, tests, analyses, procedures, and treatments,
f) Cell or tissue culture studies,
g) Research on body physiology, such as exercise,
g) Studies conducted within the scope of nursing and midwifery regimes and clinical research conducted within the scope of the activity programs of the departments at Iğdır University,
h) Studies conducted with genetic material for identification purposes other than gene therapy,
i) Research based on anthropometric measurements,
i) Studies on the evaluation of life aspects such as nutrition,
j) Research measuring the scope of health education provided,
k) All studies conducted without direct humanitarian intervention, such as life expectancy assessment studies.
Attention to Applicants
In order for researchers to fill out the required application forms completely, they must be converted to PDF format and sent electronically to igdiretikkurul@gmail.com . In addition, all files must be submitted to the Ethics Committee Secretariat with a fine signature. If the files are incomplete, they will not be accepted to the committee unit. It should be noted that researchers who will apply to the Ethics Committee must be within Iğdır University.
A maximum of three application proposals are brought to the agenda by the researcher within a month. If there are more than three applications, they are included in the next meeting according to the document registration number.
You must ethically establish the conformity of the notification numbered 69468120-514.99-E.179704 published by the "Turkish Ministry of Health, Turkey Medicines and Medical Devices Agency" with the ethics committee disease symptoms result report.
Meeting Dates
Iğdır University Non-Interventional Clinical Research Ethics Committee meets on the last Wednesday of each month. The deadline for submitting application files is 1 week in advance. Files submitted after this period will not be accepted.
